She is the kind of person who doesn’t mind eating fruit at a Walt Disney World breakfast buffet. At least, this is how we justified the expensive meal to ourselves–your mileage may vary. Seating for 1900 Park Fare breakfast goes until nearly noon and the restaurant does not serve lunch, so unlike other Walt Disney World buffets, it’s not possible to do a ‘twofer’ of breakfast and lunch for the price of one here. If you’ve never been to 1900 Park Fare, it is quite a large restaurant and has a fairly large buffet area. Did you see Big Bertha the organ? There are lots of carousel horses as well, so you would expect Mary Poppins to appear at this breakfast, and she does. For that price, I don’t expect to have to wait in long lines, be forced to pay for a picture that I had to wait for, or get mediocre food. Located in the Grand Floridian Deluxe Resort, it’s easy to access by taking the monorail from Magic Kingdom (and soon you’ll be able to walk!) The waitress was awful, the juice refills went more on the table than in the glasses and everything seemed like an effort, even though we asked for very little other than coffee and juice. There is some really cute decor including a huge puppet theater which reminded me a bit of “the Sound of Music”.
